Shot Rider
Shot Rider is an action arcade game released in 1985 by Seibu Kaihatsu. The player controls a motorcycle rider viewed from a top-down perspective, navigating roads while shooting at enemy vehicles. The objective is to destroy oncoming threats and survive increasingly aggressive waves of traffic and armed opponents. Players use a joystick to steer the bike and a button to fire weapons forward at targets. The game progresses through stages where enemy density and speed increase, demanding quick reflexes and precise movement. Shot Rider shares mechanical similarities with other vehicular combat games of the era, combining driving and shooting in a straightforward format typical of mid-1980s arcade design.
