Tetris Blast is a puzzle game released by Bullet Proof Software in 1996 for the Game Boy. Players control falling tetromino blocks, rotating and positioning them to form complete horizontal lines that clear from the playfield. The game features both single-player and competitive two-player modes using the Link Cable. Gameplay follows traditional Tetris mechanics with standard controls: directional buttons move pieces left and right, while rotation buttons turn pieces to fit gaps. The single-player mode progresses through multiple level stages with increasing difficulty as rows are cleared and blocks fall faster. The two-player mode allows head-to-head competitive play where both players race to survive longer and clear lines more efficiently than their opponent.
