Super Star Wars: Return of the Jedi is een briljante actie-platformer uit 1994 voor de SNES, gebaseerd op de derde film uit de originele Star Wars-trilogie. Sculptured Software wist de filmische spanning perfect om te zetten naar een uitdagend spel dat je door iconische locaties voert: van de wouden van Endor tot aan het Keizers-paleis op Coruscant. Het spel wisselt slim tussen platformsecties en op-rails-sequences, waarbij je onder andere AT-ST walkers bestuurt. Combat draait om projectielwapens en timing, terwijl je vijanden onder vuur neemt en obstakels ontwijkt. Met Luke, Leia en Han Solo als speelbare karakters, elk met hun eigen aanvalspatronen, biedt het spel fijne variatie.
