Penguin-Kun Wars is an arcade action game released in 1985 by UPL. Players control an animal character—including a penguin, rabbit, bear, or bug—competing in a table-based ball-throwing contest against an opponent. The goal is to knock all the balls off the opponent's side of the table while keeping your own side clear. Each match is a timed bout, and players use a joystick to move their character side to side, catching and throwing balls rapidly. The game features multiple animal characters, each with different speed and throwing attributes. Matches escalate in difficulty as players progress through opponents. A two-player competitive mode is also available, letting two players face off directly across the table.
