XX Mission
XX特攻
XX Mission is a vertically scrolling action game developed by UPL and released in arcades in 1986. The player controls a soldier on foot, moving upward through enemy territory while shooting at ground troops, vehicles, and other threats. The game uses an overhead perspective and features a joystick and fire button for straightforward controls. Players must navigate through multiple stages filled with enemy infantry, tanks, and obstacles, collecting power-ups to enhance their firepower. The soldier can move in multiple directions while the stage scrolls upward automatically. Each stage ends with more intensive enemy encounters before advancing further. The game's challenge increases as enemies become more aggressive and numerous in later stages.
