Victorious Nine
Victorious Nine is an action arcade game released by Taito in 1984. The game puts players in control of a baseball-themed action scenario, where they must fend off waves of opponents using timing and quick reflexes. As with many Taito arcade titles of the era, the gameplay is structured around surviving increasingly difficult waves of challenges. Players use a joystick and buttons to respond to incoming attacks and control their on-screen character. The cabinet featured a fixed perspective typical of early 1980s arcade design. Victorious Nine was aimed at the Japanese market and reflected Taito's interest in sports-influenced action games during this period.
