CarnEvil is a light gun shooter released by Midway Games in 1998 for arcades. One or two players pick up mounted gun controllers and blast through a horror-themed carnival overrun by grotesque monsters. The game is divided into four main stages: Rickety Town, Freak Show, Jungle Land, and Tökkentäkker's Castle, each ending with a boss fight. Players shoot enemies, collect power-ups, and manage limited continues to survive. The cabinet features a large screen and dual gun mounts designed for cooperative play. Characters include clowns, zombies, and other carnival creatures rendered in detailed 3D graphics.
