Cyber Sled
Cyber Sled is a 3D tank combat game released by Namco in 1993 for arcades. Players pilot a futuristic hover sled through enclosed arena-style battlefields, engaging enemy sleds in one-on-one combat. The game uses polygon-based 3D graphics, which were notable for the time. Controls involve steering the sled and firing weapons at opponents while managing movement speed. Each match takes place in a walled arena, and the objective is to destroy the enemy sled before time runs out or before being destroyed first. The game offers several different arenas with varying layouts. Cyber Sled supports only single-player mode against CPU opponents. The cabinet featured a large monitor and immersive controls suited to the vehicular combat format.
