Fire One
开火
Fire One is a naval action game released by Exidy in 1979 for arcades. Players control submarines and fire torpedoes at enemy ships passing across the screen. The game supports two players simultaneously, allowing head-to-head competition where each player commands their own sub. Using a joystick and fire button, players must time their torpedo shots carefully to intercept moving surface vessels, accounting for the travel time of the projectiles. Enemy ships move at varying speeds, increasing the challenge over time. The screen displays a side-view perspective with the submarines below and ships sailing across the top portion. Scoring is based on successful hits, and the game continues in an arcade loop format with escalating difficulty as ships move faster and appear more frequently.
