Dragon View
Dragon View is a top-down action RPG developed by Infogrames in 1994 for the SNES. Players control a hero exploring a fantasy world from an overhead perspective, navigating dungeons and overworld areas filled with enemies and obstacles. Combat occurs in real-time as the player moves and attacks using controller buttons. The game features a magic system where spells can be learned and used in battle. Players progress by defeating enemies, collecting items like potions and equipment upgrades, and solving simple puzzles. The level structure alternates between outdoor areas and dungeons, with bosses guarding progression. Experience points and gold are earned from combat encounters. The game emphasizes exploration and action-oriented gameplay rather than menu-heavy RPG mechanics, making it accessible to players new to the genre.
