Gun Fight is a two-player action game released by Midway in 1975. Each player controls a gunfighter on opposite sides of the screen, using a joystick to move and a separate button to fire. The goal is to shoot the opponent while dodging their bullets. The screen features obstacles such as cacti, covered wagons, and rocks that bullets can pass through or be blocked by depending on position. Players have a limited time to score as many hits as possible, with each successful shot awarding a point. The game runs in timed rounds, and the player with the highest score when time expires wins. Gun Fight was notable for using a microprocessor, making it one of the earliest arcade games built on that technology.
