Over Drive is a 1990 arcade action game from Konami in which the player controls a motorcycle racer competing across a series of stages. The objective is to reach the finish line within a time limit while weaving through dense traffic and avoiding collisions with rival vehicles. The game uses a behind-the-vehicle third-person perspective typical of racing action titles of the era. Players steer left and right, adjust speed, and must manage their position carefully on winding roads and highways. Crashing into other vehicles reduces time. The course progresses through multiple distinct environments, including urban roads and open highways, each presenting different traffic patterns and obstacles. The cabinet featured handlebar controls to simulate actual motorcycle riding.
