Under Fire
Under Fire is an action game released by Taito Corporation Japan in 1993 for arcade cabinets. The player controls a soldier viewed from a top-down perspective, navigating through enemy-filled stages while shooting at opposing forces. Armed with a primary weapon, the player fights through multiple levels featuring infantry, vehicles, and other threats. The game uses a joystick and buttons for movement and firing, with players able to shoot in multiple directions. Stages are structured linearly, requiring the player to eliminate enemies and advance toward mission objectives. Power-ups and weapon pickups scattered throughout levels offer temporary combat advantages. The game supports cooperative multiplayer, allowing two players to tackle the missions together simultaneously.
