Atomix
Atomix is an action-puzzle game released in 1990 for DOS. Players control a bouncing atom that must collect and arrange elemental pieces to form complete molecules within time limits. Each level presents a new molecular puzzle with atoms scattered across the playfield. Movement is controlled through directional input, causing the atom to bounce and ricochet off obstacles and other particles. The core challenge lies in predicting trajectories and timing movements to gather the required elements in the correct configuration. The game features progressively complex molecular structures, from simple compounds to more intricate arrangements. With its blend of physics-based movement mechanics and puzzle-solving requirements, Atomix demands both quick reflexes and strategic planning. The DOS version provides a distinctly retro arcade experience with simple graphics and engaging gameplay loops.

DOS games use the keyboard directly as the controller — there is no console-button mapping. Open the in-game documentation or check the game-specific options screen for the key layout used by this title.
Rebind any key from the EmulatorJS in-game settings menu (gear icon → Controls). A connected gamepad auto-maps to the same buttons.
