Dead Eye
Dead Eye is a 1978 arcade action game developed by Meadows. The player takes the role of a gunfighter in a Western-themed shooting game. Using a joystick and fire button, the player aims at targets that appear on screen, drawing and shooting before opponents can fire back. The game presents a series of quick-draw dueling scenarios where reaction time is critical. Targets must be dispatched accurately and quickly, as hesitation results in the player being shot. Difficulty increases as the game progresses, with faster and more challenging opponents appearing. Dead Eye is a single-player experience focused entirely on reflexes and accuracy, fitting neatly into the quick-draw shooter genre that was popular in late 1970s arcades.
