Zombies
Zombies is a 2-player action game developed by LucasArts and released in 1994 for the Super Nintendo. Players take on the role of zombie hunters battling through hordes of undead creatures across multiple levels. The game features side-scrolling action gameplay with a dark horror atmosphere. Controls use standard SNES buttons—directional buttons for movement, action buttons for jumping and attacking with selected weapons. Various weapon types are available to deal with different zombie enemies. Level progression advances through zombie-infested environments, with difficulty increasing as stages progress. Each stage presents stronger enemies and more complex layouts. The 2-player co-operative mode allows simultaneous play, requiring coordination to defeat zombie groups and survive each level. The game emphasizes action combat and cooperative gameplay.
